In un confronto diretto con la precedente versione del combo MAX10, è chiaro che la modalità sensore e il relativo cavo impermeabile sono stati pesantemente rivisti e ora garantiscono un'ottima risposta dell'acceleratore, anche la fantastica accelerazione con potenza di uscita stabile e la bella linearità a basse velocità sono tra gli aspetti che sono stati particolarmente migliorati.
Particolare attenzione è stata dedicata al contenimento delle temperature di funzionamento, il MAX10 G2 Combo supera davvero altri prodotti comparabili, ciò è in parte dovuto alle ottimizzazioni nel design e naturalmente anche ai condensatori più grandi.
